I was treated to my start of football over a week ago when the college guys got started. I prefer the NCAA to NFL because the pro athletes act so damn goofy on the field, as if their rather normal plays are something spectacular.
But I do from time to time watch the pros anyway, when there's nothing else going on. I tend to pull for the Bengals (even though they suck) and the Colts. |

Am I looking forward to the season, yeah, as always. Though after "Ricky-Gone-Haywire" and being at the Titans/Miami game yesterday, I have little hope for my team this year. Still my team, despite it all...just hoping to break 500.

Yeah, the Jet's looked awesome...Kevin Mawae and the guards doing sweeps to the right? Sick!

At the end of the game, I kept on feeling like the spread (that is, Jets/Bengals) should have been a lot wider.
That being said, every bit of congratulations should still be given to Marvin Lewis and what he has done with this team. |
