Maybe they are onto something, the more they lie and obfuscate the more it makes them look like the ninnies that they are. On Nov 3rd, there will be a smoking hole where the DU once stood. A GWB win is going to completely unglue whatever is left of thier tattered party. The Democratic party will no longer be able to use the excuse that Gore was too far right, and that the people want liberals, they will no longer be able to use the excuse that the Right has it out for Clinton, they will have nothing to blame thier failure on other than the fact that they are woefully out of tune with what this coutnry wants. Of course whoever is left clinging to the debris will still refuse to accept reality and swear that all they need to do is get a candidate who is liberal enough, and the people will come to them, they will probably end up inviting Nader back into thier fold.

I think the reason the Du fears teh draft so much is that in the Army they will wash thier asses or have them washed for them.

This is really the only time we can run with the issue, 1 1/2 months before the election we can throw out enough truths, and half truths, and Bush doesn't have enough time to thoroughly diffuse the issue. Now it doesn't matter how Bush responds, only 50 days left or whatever it is, there will be enough doubt planted in the voters heads and Rove doesn't have time to sort it all out and reassure them. |
