Or the guys who tend the wine grapes on her 16-acre plot in St. Helena. Or the ones who clean the 3,300 square foot house there. Or the big swimming pool in the back yard. |

Give them sometime. Bush still has a guest worker program in the works. The dems need more voters for '08 as well. Don't rush our down fall.

They want to push it but are waiting in the House to see if they can get 50+ Republicans to go along for cover with the 230 some Democrats… so far they cannot get the 50. So once more the House REPUBLICANS are holding up amnesty… ya’ll need to teach them another lesson. |

I hope you are right, but maybe it could be the smarter unions don't want the competition for jobs either. I think it would really depress wages. |

Not the unions. Unfortunately most of the unions are a lost cause, for some inexplicable reason they have decided to support amnesty… I suspect the unions think illegals that get amnesty will be ripe ground for union organizers. The House leadership has said that what they are waiting for more Republicans to get onboard. |
