Russian ammo is Russian ammo. Some of its better than others, usually dirty but always shoots. Not the most accurate. But Russian ammo is better than none.

I am looking at using it in my AR15... A friend told me the lacker will build upfrom these rounds. If they are zinc plated will they run smoother?

I have been shooting wolf since the first round in my AR (probably 2500 to 3000 rounds) without a problem, I do however clean it EXTREAMLY well after each range trip. |

I shoot wolf with no problems, I don't like barnaul though.

Remember you can sell your once-fired brass, but not the steel. You could sell it for at least $55/k.
AIM Surplus Silver Bear: $280/k, break even point with brass ammo would be $335/k. |

Barnaul runs circles around Wolf. That said, steel cased ammo is hard on AR extractors. Caveat emptor.
