American History X

Damn.....just damn...I saw it several years ago on vhs but I picked it up on dvd the other day....the face on the curb stomp is more intense with the new digital audio. Good flick, Norton Jr. was pretty much a bad-ass.

That is one of my favorite movies. Damn good flick and yes the curb scene is very intense. Makes me shiver thinking about it

I liked that movie. The kid brother was hard to take though. Wasn't that Edward Furlong? Can't stand him.

Furlong, yes. Same kid that was in T2.

X is one of my favorite movies. Hard core.

There should be an alternate ending, where after Norton's character sees his dead brother, he should go home infront of the mirror and shave his head. Then the screen goes black, credits role.
Open up for "American History X 2" (the revenge)

That was actually the real ending envisioned.
The script's conclusion had Derek shaving his head in the bathroom of the school, transforming back into a naziskin after the death of his brother. However, this was never filmed and dropped from subsequent re-writes of the screenplay.

That end was really an idea, sweet.

It only makes sense to my thats why I thought of it.

In detail, My idea:
Norton comes home, goes to the bathroom, rips of his shirt, His eyes and nostrils flare when he sees his swazi tat.

The shot goes over the sink and you see tuffs of hair falling down in slow motion, then the screen goes black, then credits role.
