Neat. I would be concerned that high winds would disperse the stream too much to rely on the system though.

i feel sorry for the new recruits, who are sent to the commo room, to get a bucket of " antenna water"...
 as if the cans of " squelch" were not bad enough.

Once you have built a plastic tube to enclose the water jet, to keep the wind from dispersing it, what is the benefit over a normal antenna?

OK, riddle me this. Once you have built a plastic tube to enclose the water jet, to keep the wind from dispersing it, what is the benefit over a normal antenna? You can reduce the number of antennas required. And, and this is just a guess, is that the RCS would be reduced for the times you're not using the antenna. |
