yes you're the only one....  THE ONLY ONE in the entire world who likes both.  Of course I just happen to own plenty of both as well, but I don't like guns.  They like me.

Both. Hard-pressed to find a better 9mm, and you can't go wrong with a 1911 in .45.

Unless you buy a shitty one.

I've had both but currently only have several Glocks.

I've been toying with the idea to get a nice 1911 though.

I'm sure they will get along fine in the safe together.

Yup..

I've had a strong feeling about Glocks from Gen 1.

And it's NOT a good one.

Call me a dinosaur.

I own both.  Glocks are for serious use. 1911's are for collecting due to their history and beauty.

Are we doomed to be at odds in everything on ARFCOM?

Personally, I've been a glock guy my whole life, and I'm just now venturing into the 1911 world, and I'm loving every minute of it.

Unless you vote for Obama in 2012, there will be at least one thing we have in common.

Pfft, when you get down to the nitty gritty, they're *ALL* guns.

And in Soviet Russia, guns love you!

When you get a bunch of like minded people in the same place, they're going to find something to argue about.

Fuck, I wasted post 1000 on that.

I don't understand how either side gets so polarized.

All I care about is if the weapon is dependable when seconds count.

1911s are great, but they'll make your wallet cry out for mercy .  1911 disease is as bad as BRD.

I don't "embrace" Glocks, but I tolerate them.
