I got a bigger tax return than I expected and went a little nuts. Which of these was the dumbest thing to buy?

I dunno if I'd call any "stupid"......
I'm not all that hype to buy night vision though. I'm also satisfied with one shotgun platform..... I'd've used that money on a Paraclete vest and plates. Nice carbine |

I don't currently own a shotgun, so I would have bought that.
I also don't own night vision, so I would have bought that. I like the look of that LW, so I probably would have bought that too. Good on ya.

Fuck that! I got to play with some PVS-7D's and they were easily more kickass than my entire gun collection... but don't tell my guns I said that! |

Hmmm.... I like all of them,
but I would have gotten an 870 instead of the bennelli and used the extra $ for forend light, and saved some money and bought a normal AR and used extra money for optics and mags. |

Trade your gun collection for one, and you can see an intruder in the dark, and then throw the PVS at him.... I imagine if you were to varment hunt at night..? it may warrant having. Otherwise it is alot of money for a "toy". I do have some expensive "toys" myself. |

All really nice stuff, nothing there I don't want to have. I'd only say you were stupid if you were allready riding heavy CC debt or similar and bought the stuff instead of paying it down.

I wanted a Benelli M4 but than found out they arent making extensions anymore, havinga cool looking gun just isnt worth it if it doesnt have the performance

I vote PVS-14, but that's dependant on how much you paid for it. May be a better unit (or Gen 4?) out there for that $$.
This looks VERY nice, but is significantly more expensive. Thermal monocular, useable on Elcan mount as a riflescope |

I already have a Glock and a 1911. I like my SIGs a lot better than either of those, and I don't theink there's anything that a Beretta can do that a SIG P226 can't do at least as well. Now a suppressor for a SIG.... |

Bingo. A whole bunch, but it's budgeted to be paid off in 10/07. This little spending spree didn't change the payoff date, but I could have knocked a couple or three months off the repayment schedule by being more responsible. |
