After hearing this song, "When I'm Gone" My respect for him has grown alot.

The man has Balls that s for sure, he tells the world what his weakness are.  I believe his music is therapy for the messed up childhood he had.

WHAT SAY YE?

He masturbates and you pay money to watch. That's not a healthy relationship, although I'm sure it's OK by him.

ETA: If you had a fucked up childhood and nurse a desire to rape your mom and kill yo' baby momma (even if the latter is just a part of your fantasy of life as an obese baggy-pantsed urban gangsta), you should keep your filthy pathological mouth shut or kill your useless self, no matter how much money you could make wanking for a cum-hungry public.

On the other hand we pay to see female porn stars masturbate.

As far as I'm concerned; if he comes on the TV while I'm watching it I'll either hit the MUTE button or change the channel.

Whatever grown hair on your hands, man.

He's got an attitude but he's a talented guy. As for his hateful lyrics... listen to Mockingbird, gives you a different side of him. Plus, when most every rapper is obsessed with nothing but money and bling he at least focuses on lyrics, even if they are sometimes harsh.

Besides, a lot of these guys who put down his lyrics listen to bands that are every bit as immoral and selfish as they imagine Eminem to be.

Perhaps the most talented rapper ever.  The Michael Jordan of rap.  A quantum leap in talent.

I care nothing for his personal life.  Some of his new music sounds like he's getting a bit soft.

made that fool what he is today.

Futility at it's best. Like retarded kids throwing Ice cubes at the sun.

HipHop/Rap may possibly be the most influencial youth culture
ever conceived and continues to grow every waking minute on a Global Scale.

Tell that to the Millions of listeners and practioners worldwide. Chances are, They'll tell
you to fuck off, while turning up the bass drowning out Your Hank Williams CD at the stoplight.

To add insult to injury, for every 1 rapper that has made a household name for themselves; having the goal to personally irritate You of course, the record industry will have cranked out 20 new albums to further drive the point home that We are not going anywhere, anytime soon.

Funny coincidence, that's a rap lyric.

I quote, from Immortal Technique: Attempts to extinguish me don't even bother me none
Like retarded kids throwing ice cubes at the sun

I know he didn't invent the phrase, but that's funny nonetheless.

I have all the CD's that he has put out. I like his music. He is not afraid to say ANYTHING. I agree he has gotten a little "soft" in the past few albums...but I still like them. I generally do not listen to rap, but Eminem is my exception.

So you're saying I should listen to rap just because it's popular?  Now THAT'S fucking retarded.
You say that like it makes rap any less idiotic.
It would be Metallica or Black Label Society, and they'd have a hell of a time competing with my Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 getting 400 watts RMS.
Once again, that doesn't change the fact that RAP FUCKING SUCKS, and is to music what paint by numbers is to art.
