After hearing this song, "When I'm Gone" My respect for him has grown alot.
The man has Balls that s for sure, he tells the world what his weakness are. I believe his music is therapy for the messed up childhood he had. WHAT SAY YE? LINK FOR VIDEO? |
He masturbates and you pay money to watch. That's not a healthy relationship, although I'm sure it's OK by him.
ETA: If you had a fucked up childhood and nurse a desire to rape your mom and kill yo' baby momma (even if the latter is just a part of your fantasy of life as an obese baggy-pantsed urban gangsta), you should keep your filthy pathological mouth shut or kill your useless self, no matter how much money you could make wanking for a cum-hungry public. |
As far as I'm concerned; if he comes on the TV while I'm watching it I'll either hit the MUTE button or change the channel. Whatever grown hair on your hands, man. |

he certainly has come a long way from "i'm going to kill kim, cut her up into bits and throw her in the lake" to "i love hailey and i'm going to get back together with kim because it's what's best for my daughter"
He's got an attitude but he's a talented guy. As for his hateful lyrics... listen to Mockingbird, gives you a different side of him. Plus, when most every rapper is obsessed with nothing but money and bling he at least focuses on lyrics, even if they are sometimes harsh.
Besides, a lot of these guys who put down his lyrics listen to bands that are every bit as immoral and selfish as they imagine Eminem to be. |
he has a talent of getting words together very well...but his demenor and songs suck
If you want serious answers, never offer pie as an answer. Pie wins everytime.
Perhaps the most talented rapper ever. The Michael Jordan of rap. A quantum leap in talent.
I care nothing for his personal life. Some of his new music sounds like he's getting a bit soft. |
He's a lyrical friggin' genius. Absolutely brilliant. I'm not much of a fan, but I can totally respect his musical ability.
In a nutshell. I can respect that he is making money with music rather than as the criminal most of his kind become but that's about it. |

He's an old friend of mine from back in the day.
I will never knock him for what He does. Hate him or love him, he always gave a fuck less what people thought about him-which to his benefit(and many others changrin) made that fool what he is today. |
I wouldn't call anything he or his type put out a 'song'. I don't like people who don't act their own color. Just my $.02.
It's not a color, it's the way he grew up. |
People hate him cause he's white, but he rap's way better than those other dumbass rappers
That's like saying one gay porn star is better than all the other ones. |
I think that are a lot of other people in the world that deserve "respect" other than some rapper.
Futility at it's best. Like retarded kids throwing Ice cubes at the sun. HipHop/Rap may possibly be the most influencial youth culture ever conceived and continues to grow every waking minute on a Global Scale. Tell that to the Millions of listeners and practioners worldwide. Chances are, They'll tell you to fuck off, while turning up the bass drowning out Your Hank Williams CD at the stoplight. To add insult to injury, for every 1 rapper that has made a household name for themselves; having the goal to personally irritate You of course, the record industry will have cranked out 20 new albums to further drive the point home that We are not going anywhere, anytime soon. |
You don't know the man. You don't know what he's been through, seen or done, nor understand the enviroment/circumstances He was raised in. If You grew up in Calcutta, Do you think you would still sound like the average white dude? |
Funny coincidence, that's a rap lyric. I quote, from Immortal Technique: Attempts to extinguish me don't even bother me none Like retarded kids throwing ice cubes at the sun I know he didn't invent the phrase, but that's funny nonetheless. |
I have all the CD's that he has put out. I like his music. He is not afraid to say ANYTHING. I agree he has gotten a little "soft" in the past few albums...but I still like them. I generally do not listen to rap, but Eminem is my exception.
So you're saying I should listen to rap just because it's popular? Now THAT'S fucking retarded. You say that like it makes rap any less idiotic. It would be Metallica or Black Label Society, and they'd have a hell of a time competing with my Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 getting 400 watts RMS. Once again, that doesn't change the fact that RAP FUCKING SUCKS, and is to music what paint by numbers is to art. |
Somebody caught an Immortal Technique quote on ARFCOM??
Man there really is Hope for the World! |
If that's not sarcasm, yes, there is |
Dude, stop with the colors man, I'm freakin' out. |
I could care less what you listen to. This being the main point: Do You see Rappers going around talking about how much Punk rock and Metal sucks?
I'm not partial to screaming bellowing and self induced migraines, but I do have the foresight to respect it for what it is: Music.
Opinion. Nothing more nothing less. Reread what I wrote that you highlighted in yellow. Free Your mind. Assalam Alaikum. |

None at all. Word. |
He's a thug.
Let your kids listen to his music, and they'll thrill you with the new words they'll learn. |
rap promotes the trash lifestyle. ho's,drugs, murder, rape etc.. and makes more idiots think they can live the big gangsta life style.
it's garbage pure and simple. VERY little of it is more than remixes of old songs <and poor remixes at best> I cn count on one hand the "talented" rappers since the dawn of hiphop/rap in general. if you enjoy it that's fine. to each his own. but please don't even try to pretend it's anything more than mass marketed overhyped crap. |
The color of your skin dictates your personality? How can you act a color? |
You kno dat rap were MM be jiggin bout snuffin he's moma and diggin a whole in hes yard and burying dat skanky ho and rapin about baron munchiehousing skindrom be sick man, sick!
he puts out music for simps and laughs all the way to the bank
I have to respect the fact that as a high school dropout he will make more legal money than I will in a thousand lifetimes. As a human he is a mixed bag. He behaves much better than just about all of the other rap stars. I don't know if he could hold up in an intellegent conversation, but who knows.
I don't respect ghetto "culture" or the "music" that glorifies and perpetuates the thug-life. |
