I thought any f-body owners would appreciate this. Or any sub framed car owners for that matter. Sub-frame connectors are the "must do" modification for 3rd generation f-bodies. These are pics of the Alston sfc's I installed last spring.. I just finished putting the car away for the winter so here they are.
First up..a picture of the 2 jackstands under the front subframe. Notice the car isn't touching either one and I have the jack on the drivers side...
Here is the passenger side. Notice the sfc is tighter to the body then the exhaust system.
The drivers side.
Another pic of the drivers side showing how tight to the body it is. You can see the drive shaft below it.
the real proof these sfc's make the car very rigid..the car is on 3 jack stands. 2 in the front and one on the rear passenger side and the rear drivers side tire is off the ground approx 2".
Here is a pic from the back of the car.
These sfc's fit like a glove and are very easy to install. These are the bolt in model. I had them welded in to make them that much more stronger.
I bought them directly from Alston as they were closer to me then Top Down Solutions.
A great product and a great company to deal with. I highly recommend these sfc's.
