I was at the fun store today and notice that there was a sign up saying there was a recall on Reloader 22 Lot# 25083.

The Alliant site says some crap about making sure you reduce loads 10% when you use this lot of powder. Well gee, what the hell are you supposed to do when you already did up a bunch of rounds to previously worked up loading data that happens to be near max and are not sure if this lot of powder was used?  Does Alliant expect you to go pull all of the bullets and start over?

If I sound pissed, it is because I just found that I HAVE 1lb of that lot of powder and am not sure what rounds it went into. I know I used at least 1 lb of RE22 I bought at the same time but I have no idea what the lot# was because the empty can was tossed long ago.

Oh man that is a bummer. When I reload ammo, I usually write down the maker of primer, bullet wt, amount of powder, date, and now I have to add lot number of primer & powder. Thanks for the warning.
