Im a gun guy and just recently submitted my first NFA forms. Even then i had to do a shit load of research to make sure shit was right and still fucked it up a couple times.
Saying you dont know what the NFA is and not understanding NFA laws is a broad spectrum. What exactly did he say? |

It seems I talk to a gun person fairly frequently who have been told all sorts of retarded shit about the NFA. Hell I was one until I learned about it from a gunshop.
We really need to make a point to educate more people about it. This is one of the reasons a lot of members are so passed about Nolo and moose losing the BOD. The NRA needs to move on this hard. |

Former military. OK, and? I've met a many former guy who have zero knowledge about guns other than keep them clean, keep them lubed, and don't lose them.
He's former Congressman. OK, again, and? Congresspeople don't know dick about dick at times, regardless of how high we think of them. He's former NRA board. Once again, and? NRA is barely starting to talk about suppressors within the past couple years, SBRs and related laws isn't pinging their radar. I get what your saying, but it's just not anything to be upset about. I'm not sure if he has changed recently but steven crowder still talks about having to obtain a class III license to buy a machine gun. I like him but he is fairly ignorant or intentionally misleading when he talks about the process to obtain a gun. He uses the most strict laws and implies that they are common, although they aren't.
