I noticed both Treetop and LARRY G both have the AR-7 survival type rifles.

What do you think about them? Are they worth the 115 or so dollars they cost?

Got mine at a gunshow, brand new from AR-7 industries. ArmaLite hasn't carried them in awhile, but I was able to get a steel barrel from them to replace the sleeved plastic barrel that came with it. Neat little rifle. Fun to shoot. It's worth what you pay. Sean Connery used one in one the 007 movies and they used a stainless model in a "Magnum PI" episode two days ago. Someone else makes one but I can't remember who.

They are great little guns! They are very compact when disassembled and they actually float (assembled OR disassembled).

I have an original Armalite and 2 from the "new" AR7 Industries and a few Henry ones. My favorite is the original Armalite.

You can't go wrong adding one of these to your collection.
