Not a surprise, proposed by a dim. They told you their plans and wrote them all out on the Georgia Guidestones, why is this a surprise?

The only part of the proposed bill that gives a reasoning behind it is, "Under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men." |

Tho, the downside of legislating what the state will allow people to willingly put into their bodies by implication also gives the state the authority to legislate what it can take out of the body without consent. |

I'm guessing it's nothing more than ridiculous grandstanding to make a point and has no chance to pass.
Pro-abortion advocates claim that restrictions on it are targeted at woman's reproductive choices. Given the wording of this bill it appears to be introduced with some loony "How do you like them apples when it applies to you men." attitude. It's similar to when the one Dem from STL introduces a gun control bill into the Missouri House. They put it out there and get promptly told to sit down by the firm R majority. The same should happen with this bill as it's just political theater. |
