This would also explain why AlZaq has been avoiding direct confrontation with US forces...
Note that they have mainly been doing their hostage-attacks & such, up untill yesterday (presumably timed to influence the debate) when they did that car bombong... Hostage attacks do not put AQ forces at risk, as the US seems to have taken the logical route, treating them as ordinary street crime from a tactical point of view (even if it's not played that way back home), which has made said hostage attacks very innefective. And so AZ is back to 'real' terrorisim...
The return to car bombings, btw has gone VERY badly for them, as we've responded with an attack on one of their 'stronghold' towns, killing 90 of their guys so far & rescuing a Turkish hostage...
