How good is Aguila ammo, have never seen or shot any of it.

As I understand it, the facility is owned or managed by Remington and production is to Remington specs.

Again, as I understand it.

I have used .38 spec JHP and .380 JHP. All GTG.

got a case of aguila .45acp. shoots fine out of my 3 1911's. no issues. accuracy is good enough for my purposes.

their .22 is top notch stuff especially the subsonic stuff. my ruger 10/22 loves it.

I've shot some of their .25ACP stuff and it works great

I've only shot 9mm and .22LR.  Shoots good, but smells funny.

It's decent enough for cheap ammo.  I've never had any problems with it but don't expect great accuracy.

I have shot a fair amount of it with no complaints at all. This is not a technical assessment, but the handgun ammo seemed admirably hot, from a layman's perspective.

My suppressed 22 thinks it is the best stuff on earth.

Only shot the .22 no complaints about it..   I am still using the same stuff I bought about 9 years ago..

Muy Bueno

I shot a case of 45ACP and have several thousand rounds of several different flavors of the 22.  The ammo is good stuff, but the 22 does smell a bit like piss and is a little more dirty.  Their subsonic 22 is amazingly accurate and will give results close to Wolf Match .  Their SSS is the bane of my dwindling rodent population.

This is true, I also have not had any issues of note with it. My MP15-22 and 22/45 both love it.

ETA: That is true, it does stink, ammonia like. It isn't too clean either, but it runs reliably.

I've shot Aguila in many calibers, and have never had a problem with any of it.  The price is good too.

Actually, and I kind of hate to say this,
Aguila is better than domestic Remington ammo now.

I've been very happy with their rimfire.  I've got a gun pretty much dedicated to their Colibri and Super Colibri.

I have fired 38 special JHP and 30 carbine and I think the exact opposite with these two caliburs.  The 30 carbine is under military velocities and the 38 feels like a standard load.  Both are fine ammo but not hot.  It maybe different with other calibers.

.30 carbine and all the .22 rimfire stuff is GTG, some of the best ammo around IMO.

A friend of mine went through a bunch of their .22 when we went shooting together a couple times. Smelled funny but he never had any problems with accuracy or reliability.

no problems here (9mm/.22LR mostly, and a few others)

Love it in .22lr.

Super Colibri will kill starlings from 15 yards and the only sound you hear is the firing pin.

The .22 SSS is good stuff too. Bit louder, kinda like a CB cap, but at 60 grains has some squirrel stopping power behind it.

Their gun-powder free .22 is the most accurate 22 ammo i've ever used.  It only has 11 lb-ft of energy, though.  I was making hits on a 2l bottle cap sized target at 25 yards with the stuff without trying.  I wish I could find regular 22 ammo that would do the same for me.
