After last weeks scare, where I found a crusty reddish substance in my barrel, which I thought to be rust, I took the gun to the range again today, and it performed flawlessly!

I was able to clean out whatever it was, and the barrel shined like a baby's ass, with no signs of any pitting, so it must not have been rust. Someday, maybe the culprit will reveal itself to me.

I ran about 180 rounds through it, with no jams or misfeeds. Several other club members admired it and shot it, and were very impressed with it.

Off hand at fifty yards, it was very easy to keep the shots on a 5 1/2 Shoot and See target, shooting as fast as I could get it back on register.

Just before packing it in the for evening, I was able to print several .75 inch groups shooting off a sandbag with the OKO sight. These were shot at fifty yards in fading light, slight (5mph) variable winds.

This is one damned fine rifle! [:)]
