Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Advise on selling your home..... Realtors please chime in

We are moving out of our home and have never sold one before.  How does it work?  We had a realtor come out take a look and said he can get a CMA to us in a couple days.  Can we have a few come out and prepare a CMA and then decide whom to list with?  I think he charges 4% plus 1/2% kickback from Costco.

Any tips?

The best bit of advise, make the realtor feel like they are on a knife's blade.

AND CLEAN YOUR DAMN HOUSE! Remove anything of ethnicity and show how big the space is. You may actually have to work for it!
