I've started collecting the Bebop series on DVD. Unfortunately they don't produce the Box set any more. I think you can pre-purchase the movie at either www.dvdempire.com or www.dvdplanet.com

The "Mad Pierrot" episode was the one that hooked me on Cowboy Bebop.

That and Faye Valentine, of course.

Ahhhh...yes, Faye Valentine is quite the looker isn't she.

For an animated character anyway.

You have to watch the unedited sub titled versions.  There is also a movie version "knocking on heaven's door"  that was great.  Look into the unedited versions of adult swim anime.  Hell even Tenchi was way more hard core when it showed every thing.  I think cartoon network takes off about 3 minutes of air time per episode also.

That episode was just on a few days ago.

I liked that throwaway episode (it didn't connect to the series' underlying storyline) titled "Toys in the Attic".  Remind me to clean the fridge while ARMED from now on.

I've already seen the movie, about four months ago, courtesy of Kazaa.   It was in Japanese, subtitled in English.

I will definitely see it again.

Adult Swim has the BEST shows on TV.  Futurama rules (I hear new episodes are being produced...yay!) and Family Guy is good, too.

Outlaw Star COULD have been good, but it got too cheesy to bear.  The grappler ship idea..DUMB.  Not the only dumb idea, unfortunately.  It coulda been a contenda instead of a bum.

The Brak Show...I just about died laughing when Brak's mom kicked that little floating bully's ass.

ATHF:  Doesn't do much for me. Funny, but not great.

DBZ could be a lot better if they tightened up the sequences a lot and spent less time focusing on scream shots.  I'd watch it but for that.

I'm catching up on Justice League episodes, too. I haven't seen most of them.

I want that too. Cowboy Bebop is one of three shows that I always try to watch. Have a bunch of the music on mp3 as well.

Space Ghost, Brak, Sealab 2021, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Adult Swim is the absolute best TV on the air today. Well I have to include American Shooter and Tales of the Gun also.
What has amazed me is the amount of well known guests on Space Ghost, but then again I guess celebs need to relax and just have fun too.

Hey Spade....
Thanks for the heads up. I checked DVD Empire and DVD Planet and while one didn't show it at all, the other listed it as out of publication.

Everywhere I went localy also told me that the box set was no longer so I didn't even bother checking with Amazon.

I should get the set as well as the full length movie in time for my B'day in July.

I had no idea other people watched Space Ghost. I love that show. I've watched it since they had Brak on it every episode.
Brak:"You can't go outside, space is a vacuum!! You'll blow up!"
(Or something like that)
