It's my favorite button. In fact, I was the one who suggested it.

Sorry.

I didn't know we had one!!!  Been wishing ARFCOM had one for years.  It must have started since I let my membership expire.  I really need to renew.

Just click on the thread title?

I don't understand what purpose it would serve to "clear the slate".

Does your wife check to see how many BOTD threads you look at?

Sounds like someone's wife will be mad at him for surfing BOTD...

The way a thread around here can go from "Normal" to "Fucked Up" in a heartbeat makes being able to disassociate from a thread a plus.

Just to feed into everyones paranoia, the "last read post" info is stored server side.
THE GOVERNMENT CAN SEIZE THE ARFCOM SERVERS AND KNOW WHAT THREADS YOU'VE READ!!

You can unsubscribe to a thread already.

If people don't want to go to the last post read, just click on the title or one of the different pages if that is available.

Wife could still see indicators if she clicks on BOTD forum, OP still in dog house.

CRAP!  I'm pretty sure I just hit the "report" button on one of you by accident!  Have no idea who, so I'm owning up now.....and also to advise Drago's wife didn't put me up to it either.

So mods....no problem here...carry on...
