hey, with some Marines in the family, i can honestly say without seeing the pic...He wasn't kissing him, he was trying to eat him.

You'll never see that picture in an American rag. Not this close to the election. Nothing but death, destruction, tragedy and hate can ever happen if the US military is involved.

The newspaper that print this photograph is usually highly critical towards the U.S. foreign policy. Therefore, I was very surprised to find this kind of image on their front page. The following is the English translation of the caption attached to this picture:
"Two Souls: The flow of humanity is so strong for this member of the U.S. 1st Marine Division who was in the middle of a patrol mission in the city of Fallujah. A kiss for this little Iraqi child shows how humanity could come out of one's conscience." This picture does bring a lump to your throat, doesn't it? It did to me. Good job Marine, Semper Fi!   oz |
