The revered preacher at an established church retired and the church began to seek a new minister.  After some time they narrowed it down to two young candidates.  They had both men preach trial sermons to decide who to pick.  The congregation voted and it was unanimous.

The young man who was not accepted came to the leaders and said," I don't understand.   We both preached on hell.  We both used the same scriptures.  We taught the same doctrine.  We even used some of the same illustrations.  Why did you pick him and not me?"

The leaders replied, "It is true you both preached on hell and you taught the same thing.  The difference is we could tell he didn't want us to go."

Fellow Christians, while hell is real and salvation is of the utmost importance, let's try not to share the truth in a way that makes people think we WANT them to go to hell.
