Ok, so this is a movie that was made for a Field Productions class.  It's horrible, very bad.  The dialog is awful, the lighting was inconsistent, just horrible.  The details, it was written, directed, filmed, and edited in 3 days.  The budget was about 65 bucks which included the payment for cast and crew, which consisted of taking everyone to Baskin Robins for a wrap party.  You guys are going to hate it, and nit-pick it to death.  But god damn it we worked really hard on this, and it's pretty decent for the fact we had limited time and very limited budget.

without further babbling....

Pretty damn good for 3 days... much better than what my German group turned out in 2-3 weeks.

I wanted to go back and re-write the script so that it wasn't so corny but we but the actors didn't have time to learn new lines, and we didn't have time to re-shoot anything they made mistakes on.  Clearly we were short on everything from weapons to uniforms, everything.  I can answer questions about the special effects for those that want to know.

Writing short stories/scripts is somewhat of a hobby of mine, time permitting. Three days is a very small time frame to write let alone produce a short film. So I am not going to be doing any nit-picking

With that said I've seen better and worse. But your short film earned a place in my archive.

Thank you, that's a very fair comment.  I'll bump this in the morning, and hope that it gets more activity.

I get nothing when I try to play it. Do I need a new codec?

Pretty good considering your timeframe.
I couldn't see anything in the first 4 minutes. Too dark. Was that the idea?

That was part of the problem with the timeframe, we just simply ran out of light.  We were going for dark, as it was supposed to be "night time" but the light simply wasn't with us and we couldn't wait for a afternoon/evening where it was.
