A lot of folks have been talking smack about their shooting skills with the AR. I propose a contest. Equipment: NRA B-24, color sticky in center allowed Range: 100 yards Rifle: Any AR, any sights Position: Offhand (Standing unsupported, no sling) Number of rounds: 10 I can keep my hits on target, but only had one center hit. Everyone can report their hits/scores, and then the readers will have knowledge in the future when the person posts shooting advice.

Heh, I hear ya. But I think either DonR or Treetop, along with Tippie's help, proposed something like that a few months ago IIRC. Nonetheless, would be fun to see - if we can get a picture in .BMP/.JPG format that could be printed as is on a 8 1/2 * 11" sheet of paper, we'd have a common ground of target scoring to work with at, say, 100 yards.

I just got back from the range and couldn't hit the broad side of a hill with my cheapie Polish M44 Mosin-Nagant. Damn my shoulder hurts too(yours will too after 70+ rounds of 7.62x54R!!)![>(][BD] OT but I really wanna buy a M1 Garand!!!
