So lets just say, that hypothetically, on Monday I was shopping, and when I bent over to hypothetically grab a jar of apple sauce, my new iwb holster that I hypothetically bought on Saturday pinched the mag release button on my Sig229, and the magazine hypothetically dropped to the floor, and then I quickly grabbed it and reinserted the magazine and went about my business until I hypothetically turned around and realized that a yuppie looking woman hypothetically saw the whole thing and looked at me funny right there in the supermarket...

Criminal act or no? I have a ccw permit and this was clearly accidental... Hypothetically speaking of course...

I would hypothetically take a damn hard look at your carry rig, so no hypothetical shit like that ever happens again.

But no, crimes generally require "intent."  That was not intentional.

I had an interesting "holster malfunction" once too BTW.

Criminal?  No.

In NY, the issuing judge might limit or revoke your permit if they find out about a series of "issues".

Doesn't sound like a good holster for you, heh.

now i never carry anything in the little pocket if the keltec is in the pocket wo i can't bump the mag release anymore.

well lets just say that the little flap of leather riding over the button has BEEN removed, and that's not hypothetical

note, it was a "universal" compact holster meant for a 229, 226, the compact glocks, etc...

#1 Get rid of that holster or modify it to work.

Practice movement with your new holster.  Running, jumping jacks, grass drills, yoga, weird upsidedown positions, etc.

What if you lost your mag while crouching behind cover under stress and needed to act?

Legally, depends on you state.

That's why you should carry a revolver.
