Straight up, I've fired people before, and I had a guy get sideways with me about it. The guy started talking smack about how he would "put me six feet under, I told him I was going to kick his ass right then. I walked straight toward him, determined to beat the sheeot out of him for threatening my life, and he knew I was armed. He grabbed his tools and hauled ass.

I have never had to fire someone or been in a position where I would have to, but about 3 years ago we had an employee acting crazy and IMO he was acting. He was let go, our boss at the time was 6 hrs away so he asked for volunteers to go to the guys house and collect his company car, laptop, blackberry, etc. I said fuck it I will go but I am taking Mr. Glock with me. Boss said fine. It was more sad than anything else, his wife sitting in the dining room crying and all
But for all his threats and tough talk, he shook my hand, I wished him luck and I got the fuck out of there. |
