No they don't. It's enough my state taxes are paying their way. I don't mind helping, but don't wish a higher tax rate on me for it.

I'd gladly take a tax hike if it were all going to those willing to make those sacrifices for me.

I would pay an extra $5 a year to give them all a bigger pay check. And even more for our troops.

It's no one's "fault". We sent aid without being asked. But asking for us to give raises when our legislature just made us the state with the highest sales tax, extra auto repair taxes and already high propery taxes is quite enough.
