An ACP ? or .45 Colts . Probably ACP , it IS denfinately worth but thats assuming your talking about an Government model COLT made pistol . If it is "Colt" 1911Knockoff ...Charels Daily or it's ilk no .

If your talking .45 Colts 1873 ...........um . yes . No matter what the condition model whatever , whanna make a hundered bucks ?

Thanks,

If you mean the single action army revolver---> if it's "like new", it's worth much more than $800

1911? somewhere in between $400-800 as you guessed, depending on model/condition.

I will assume you mean a SAA and not the 1911 as you said .45 Colt. A third generation is worth that as new they go for around 1300 bucks. A second generation is worth much more and a first generation in excellent shape NOT refinished will go for many thousands, 10K is not uncommon. But it has to be in original condition and it HAS to be a Colt. If it is a clone......well, a few makes are worth more, but most are not collected and are worth a few hundred bucks at best. Give a bit more info on make, BBL length,  any markings, type of finish, bore condition, grip matl, it would help a lot.
