Fuck no it wasn't wrong !!!!!
We were at WAR !!! And they started it with a sneak attack. And it saved hundreds of thousands of our troops which is reason enough right there to drop it... Any more dumb questions ? |

Any more dumb questions ? Hiroshima also happened to be a major industrial center that manufactured a lot of their war material. Why does someone have to periodically bring this up? Oh yeah, those that equate us with terrorists or say we got what we deserve. |

Could of had two majors in college with history being the second. As I looked through my little brother and sisters history books I noticed so many discrepancies it made me sick and pissed off. History has already been re-written and it started in the late 80's and early 90's and has continued steadily ever since. Go pick up a history book from your local high school and see for yourself. I kept all my books from school so I had something to compare. Its a damn shame what morons are coming out of the schools now. But its not all their fault, it the liberal teaching cults lead by minorities. |

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombed to bring an END to a war WE did not start. They were also bombed to SAVE lives of both Americans and the Japanese. These factors were CAREFULLY decided before the appropriate course of action was taken. Without the A bomb Japan may NEVER have surrendered and might have continued to fight to the last man, woman and child as had been previously noted. The mass suicides on Okinawa were one of the more influential factors.
Now how are terrorist flying planes full of innocent civilians into buildings full of innocent civilians similar? |

The big difference is that WWII was a DECLARED war. The bombing of civilian targets is allowable in times of war.
The hit on the World Trade Center was mass murder. |

While the bomb probably did not cause the war with Japan to end the bomb should have been dropped.

Its a given that we would have won the war, with the help of the Russians. The Russians stepped into the fight two weeks before Hiroshima, but we had no intention of dividing Japan with them, as we had divided Europe. One of the primary reasons we bombed those cities was to stop the Red advance. Our tactic of "Let the two dictators fight it out," in Europe had gained us western Europe, but most realists believed the Russians could take us on the ground, and would soon overrun all Europe.
