I am now thoroughly pissed.  Very, very angry at these whiny, bastard-child liberals.  My god....they are very close to crossing someone's line.

And you know what's next?  "Live free or Die", and "One nation under God".  [red]Take a look at this bullsh*t.[/red]

Yes, actually it does.  I wasn't expecting this, that is why I am soooo pissed.  Attacking the 2nd amendment; I am getting used to.  Attacking state songs; I just don't understand.

The new word of choice "Progressive" to describe socialism

Well, now we know why history is so SCREWED UP.  People are changing things to be 'modern' since 'current people' know more then the 'old folks'........ stupid mentality.

As long as somewhere, there is a record of the changes AND people are TOLD about history as it was recoreded then, things should be fine.

Example, the people who took the "Oregon Trail" here.  I'd love to read a journal by on of the original travlers.  Well, changed over to printed, not the 'original'.  It's probably more interesting then the damn 'generalized' stories.  (Okay, off topic.)

I'll bet that the relocated Kalifornicators infesting Oregon had a lot to do with this.

“It’s more interesting and much warmer and prettier,” Jacob said. [heavy]

Ah, I'm getting that fuzzy tingling feeling all over. [puke]

Ho Hum.  Another 10 1/2 years till I retire and move back to Montana.

Oregon really does have some very nice people.  The political power is held by the liberal Portland area and a couple of other places.  Makes it possible for them to walk over the decent people here.  Real shame.

My grandsons know there is a "gun" in Oregon because they get to go out to the gun club and shoot!

I think Bud hit it right on the nose.  Relocated Californians.  Another example is Colorado.

Lars Larson talked about this on his local radio show.  The lady who wrote the song is from the UK.... imported her socialism.

It's just not politically correct to sing about the land of empire builders that is conquered and held by free men.

You mean you have not seen the new pledge of allegiance yet?

"I pledge allegiance to the health
of the United World of the Universe,
and to the earth on which we stand.
One planet, born of Love,
Indivisible
With rights, and responsibilities
for all"

I found it here:http://www.geocities.com/CapitolHill/Congress/7610/index.html?936337041540

Ever wonder why people want to "Home-school" their kids????

...rather than face forced, Communist indoctrination like this?

Q-Man, as Lars has been tossed around as a possilbe candidate for the Governer's slot - how did he treat this lady and what position did he take?

That part disturbed me too.  I just chose to overlook it, because the rest of the article was even worse.

My boss, a Greek, always says, "You Americans screwed it up for yourselves, and for most of Europe, by promoting a woman's right to vote. Now look a what you've created. A nation of weak minded people who think with their feelings instead of their minds. Why do you think we are hated worldwide?"

Now, I'm thinking he's being a a-hole, but there is some truth to what he says. Most of these guns bans, feel good policies, and related BS are supported by women. They innately expect men to protect them, yet they support banning the means by which men can protect them. How do you account for that?

That is indeed a touchy subject, and I am open for suggestions.  But I can bet you any money that you will never, EVER get anywhere with that argument nowadays.

I try discussing that with my wife, but it usually devolves into an argument. I tell her that basing decisions on feelings is totally wrong, and the only criterion for decision making should be logic. Period.

I wonder why I usually end up sleeping in the guest room ? [chainsaw]
