ARMSLIST is way too slow in pulling ads that are SCAMS.

Used their Flag system as well as their email contact to report SCAM listings.

Days go by and listings are allowed to remain.

Sometimes they get pulled but most often they remain.

WTF..... The site is RIPE with SCAMS and they refuse to act on them.

Nothing new here......move on and don't use them.....I actually liked Armslist early on...now I don't even go to the site

If I can't put hands on it or the seller isn't a reputable online dealer, I'm not interested.

I never thought once about using that site.

I stopped using them when their site contracted AIDS

I thought they were ALL scams.

I mean, who pays $650 for a used Glock with one magazine?
Link Posted: 4/23/2016 8:48:56 AM EDT
Really? I've gotten some good deals there sight unseen.
Link Posted: 4/23/2016 8:49:27 AM EDT
Are scams all that really hard to spot on that site

I wish I had a dollar for every thread that has been started here about scams on that site. I can't believe anyone would even think about using Armslist.

The only way I would ever use it is to set up a FTF transfer in state.

If I want something that needs to be shipped, Gunbroker is where I go.

it was a good site a while back, i got a few historical pieces off of it....but its gone down hill, scams and idiots wanting more for their used guns then new ones
Link Posted: 4/23/2016 9:09:19 AM EDT
The only scams I spot around here are the dipshits that drag their SKSes through a tapco catalog and try to find suckers to pay 700$ for them.

I have found a few good deals on there, sold a couple things too. I always meet people mid-day at Walmart, the hardware store, or gunshop parking lot.

I bought a shotgun from a guy in Wisconsin, no issues, but that was six years ago, so . . .

I have had good luck buying and selling through local ads on Armslist. Got some really good deals.

I don't know where you are at but here they act on flags pretty quick.

The best I've seen is an amd-65 for $250 more than classic arms sells them for

I've sold a lot of things on there. Bought a few items FTF. Scams are easy to spot if you're not too dumb.

Anyone who uses armslist is asking to be scammed.
