I supported the site with a paying membership for several years, but when I let my membership lapse due to financial concerns, I found that non-members had far fewer features than back when I first joined the site. I can see a lot of it being motivational to join for a paying membership, but emasculating the search function really does not help people want to become paying members, it just makes it hard to find stuff. But enough of my whining. |

I think that there is a javascript problem, occuring with the ad bar after the first post. I haven't figured out what causes the delay, but if you hit refresh on your browser, it resolves the problem, or you can turn off javascript, and it goes away (because the ad bar is being created by javascript).
