After a number of discussions on the subject and overwhelming requests, we have decided to open a batch of Lifetime Memberships for the site. At this time we are looking for these to be the only new additions for 2010 and the last of batch additions to the program. In the future, we will continue to add additional Lifetime memberships, but in a very limited fashion. (By this we mean possibly 5 per year starting in 2011 or 2012.)

Those interested should not wait, because when these are gone, there will not be anymore added for the year. In addition, we will have these available for a few weeks only, not until they sell out.

All funds from Lifetime memberships will go directly to purchasing new hardware for the site.

Immunity not included with any membership. I'd hope the few rules we have wouldn't strike fear in anyone.

I do offer the use of the Site Defense Crew (EdSr and myself) in any lifetime case to come before the court of eternal banning.

That does make it more tempting. I have found EdSr to be very capable in his moments of lucidity

If the new job comes through in November I'll be looking out for a 2011 edition.

For some reason it won't take my CC information, I keep getting error messages. Which is odd because I've purchased seven + memberships since I've joined the site; go figure I have an issue now.

But in all seriousness, can I possibly get you to help me put the transaction through?

Who cares? I get enough use out of this site that I would have done gold or plat. But when you talk about those memberships, its more worth while to just do the life.

Speaking of which, I was looking for the COC the other day, and haven't been able to locate it.

A search for "Code of Conduct" in "All Communities" over the "Last 3 Months" returns no results.

Is that last filter really a "last 3 months" filter, or does it search everything on the main server?

(i.e. everything that's not on the archive server)

Serious question: Can I "will" my membership? I'm thinking for one of my kids, but if not, a close friend, and / or current member?

I know this may look like a closely similar idea to having a "raffle" for one; however, the inheriting benefactor is being selected by the deceased who feels the one selected is worthy and of quality character to be deserving.
