Any idea and where I could find one of those clocks?
I remembered your story but not your name.

Im looking for a gift for one of my Pyrotechnic friends.

I checked Ebay with no luck.

Anyone?

Thanks Mr. Wilson.

I might try making one.

Damn, for $50 or $100, I'd buy some road flares, a coil of wire, electrical tape and a cheap clock and make my own damn bomb clock!

Nice concept though!

I'm already started, an old LED alarm clock, a egg timer (used the keypad) for looks, flares, red coily telephone wire.

The picture is fuzzy but, you get the idea
The "dynomite" is spiral-covered PVC which I textured and painted. I capped each end with hot glue which looks fairly realistic.  The LED timepiece is a Walgreen's special. The transformer is hidden inside the group of dynomite sticks.
Its not UL listed to I left it plugged in all night (it plugs in to 110V) to make sure it would not catch fire :p

Heh. A time bomb that plug into the wall. Looks convincing, though. Having never seen a real one, though, I have nothing to compare it agains. I'd have to rate the authenticity on the "Skid Mark Factor" acheived by unveiling this bad boy.

You are so gonna go to prison for trying to mail this thing to your friend!

It will be delivered in person. The recipiant is a experienced pyrotec and explosives expert.

I be sure not to keep it hidden and not rolling around on my back seat.

How about posting some specific building directions? Your homemade version looks really good, and it definitely makes an interesting conversation piece!

Is there any way you can plant this in his house without his knowledge, and be there when he turns on the lights? Hee hee hee.
