Ive been asked to come up with a fun shooting match on our 100 meter range. The problem is, we are a 'no blue sky' range on the rifle side. No moving. must stay at bench. Can kneel, or sit, but it must be in the bloody infernal box. I can get steel, and shilouettes, but I have no idea how to make this fun for people.

Any suggestions? Im stumped.

Do your targets have to be placed at the backstop?  If not, bring the targets to the shooter.  Use varying size steel past 50m, with paper up close.

Put a VTAC barricade at the shooting position.

Can the shooter move if the rifle is grounded on the bench?  If so, have them ground it, move to the other side of the bench, then continue shooting.  Use walls and angles to present different targets depending on position.

Minimum range is 50M

i can use steel from 50M out, there is a huge gully from 10-50M.

No rules on movement if rifle is grounded.

Can shooting positions be changed with a hot weapon, or is it no movement period?  For instance, can the string of fire be something like 5 targets standing, drop to prone and 5 more targets?

Yes we can do this. Just no moving from position to position (say 1 to 2). This is why the vtac barricade is a good idea.

You can shoot steel on a no-blue-sky range?

we have steel at 100m, and we are going to get more, yes. They just want to keep you in the bench / boxes

Tell whoever it was who asked you to get rid of those stupid regs, or it will be no fun.  Nothing more than a glorified bullseye shoot, no matter the gun type, given those restrictions.  Bullseye shoots CAN be fun, just for the record.
