Cloture has been achieved in the senate with 72 votes!!! Alito's vote is assured tomorrow at 11AM. Senators ASShat and ASSclown from mASSachusets flamed and ranted about how terrible it would be if we failed to appoint an extreme left wing candidate to the SCOTUS who would continue to use the court to do what the voters would never do. Tooo Frigging Bad, you crybabies!

I watched every minute of it, and can't believe how good a candidate he really is.

HA! DU has established a habit of closing their forums to non-registered users at times of Extreme Liberal Failure. It happend on election night 2004, and again when Kerry conceded the next day.

That is happened today is a pretty good indicator of how good a SCJ Alito will be.

It's a vote to end debate on an issue before the issue is officially voted on. I beleive 60 was the needed number.
