I was medically retired after 13 yrs active, reserve, etc, etc. I was fully expecting to keep my mil account and AKO, now they are saying that it is only for those that did 20 years can they keep their .mil account, but Army Human Resources and Army medical says those who are medically retired can keep it no matter how much time they put in.

I'm confused as both are telling me different things.

Anyone here a vet with less than 20 yrs and managed to keep their .mil account?

I want it because it's easier access to my records and other stuff.

I did not retire and I can still access mine as of today. Also can log into HRC records no prob. Awhile back it did say login expires in 10 days but that was over 10 days ago... Best advise is just keep using it until you cannot login or change your password anymore.
