What the hell do you make of this? Not bubbles, did I crack the glass somehow?
How is Trijicon with this sort of issue? The scope still functions flawlessly, does Trijicon have a refurb program?
Thanks

Common 'issue', and not a problem.

Microwave for like 30 seconds should fix it

No need to send it in then? Like I said it now functions flawlessly, I just worry about it.

Your ACOG has a bubbly personality.

You're good. As others have mentioned it is normal. Expect the plastic tube to crack as well. It is also normal. If you are concerned, call Trij customer service.

If your ACOG starts looking bad when you look through it, give Trijicon a call.

Does it double as a level?

WTF? Is there some kind of liquid or gel in there, or did that develop in solid plastic? If the former... why?

It's Lexan. Most ACOGs have "cracks" or bubbles in the Lexan protecting the fiber optic rod. They don't effect the function or reduce the value of the optic.

They're biblical bubbles.

Trijicon put them in there to symbolize the pharaoh's troops drowning after Moses parted the Red Sea.

Quite clearly the ACOG is worthless with this defect. Send it to me and I will dispose of it properly
