This box contained about $1800 worth of Cisco routers… The only thing that made it through unscathed was the rack mounts.

Who's the schmuck who accepted the shipment? You should not accept shipments that look like that.

that sucks, are they going to pay to replace them?

FedEx Ground. I don't use companies that only ship FedEx ground anymore since I've had so many problems.

UPS or FedEx regular only for me please. Airborne Express used to be good, but don't get me started on DHL.

I have no idea... They were insured and the shipper is having the whole mess picked up later today.

At least you got yours. My 1600 dollar Laptop is in Fedex Pergatory. Or most likely it is with one of their employess in the bario they live in. I've been fighting with those fucking cunts for almost a week now.
My only joy is knowing they're goting to get nailed for 1600 bucks.

FedEx ground and FedEx air are two different animals.

How were they packaged? Generally I package anything of value with so much bubble wrap, the woul;d survive falling off the back of the truck (the ususal excuse)

Yep ground is really bad, Air is a little better.

Almost all of the complaints I see about FedEx are related to FedEx ground.

FedEx Ground used to be RPS, who had shitty service and reliability - and haven't really gotten much better since FedEx bought them.

Dude. Whoever accepted that needs a beating!

MY brother ordered something for a Christmas present. The shipper marked it "signature required." Fed Ex says they left it at bro's front door. No, it's not there. Then they say they will look into it, talk to the driver and call my bro back the next day. Two days later and nothing. He calls and they just say to have the shipper file a claim. When Fed Ex works, it works great, but when things go south, no one there has a damn clue.

FEDEX Ground blows monkey balls.
I just hope the monkey waits to blow his load AFTER Bushmaster delivers....

Same here... I'll never order again from anyone who ships FedEx Ground. Had a Christmas present coming for our daughter that supposedly arrived at the local terminal on time and then the tracking number states it is on the truck, out for delivery.... well it's been on the damn truck out for delivery for 3 weeks now. To make a long story short, I ended up having to go to the Ground terminal and show my butt. Package arrived at my house that night.
