For my experience ACER = FAIL. The one I have has a red tinge and flickers and is pissing me off. I don't want to see that name on my monitor anymore. To hell with ACER...

I've had to repair two acer monitors for bad inverter capacitors. Stay away.

Acer has terrible build quality, had the same monitor replaced 5 times in 6 months.

Take a look at Surplus Computers. They generally have good deals on monitors and other electronics.

I sent 2 acers flat panels in for warranty(we paid shipping). They finally show back up and within an hour they were in the dumpster.(they both died within 30 min and we cut our losses).
If you're on a laptop or a mac right now, chances are you're looking at a samsung lcd, they're in everything. |
