Us too - young one that was poking around checking out the wood pile etc.. We harassed it a bit to get it to move off the yard before it dug under the porch or something. My wife accidentally chased it up a tree and got a cute picture of it hanging out there. Good climber reportedly.

When they weren't using captive hardware I could see people getting pissy about it. Now with the captive stuff, it would make sense to use something. I don't know why more knife makers don't use something like Vibratite. It's very secure and allows for very easy disassembly multiple times.

This one was quick enough when he wanted to be, took me two tries to find him because when I got him halfway to the door then turned around to hit the button to open it he scampered off and hid again.

Multi tool, plus one swipe can take the head off a possum.

Learned something within a few minutes of unboxing.
Being lefty, I held the sheath in my right hand and drew the knife with my left.
Thought I felt something wrong
Have to be care full how you hold the sheath. Little bit of my palm was in that cutout.

Apparently in one (maybe more) of the Gulf states license plates can signal political/social standing. The lower the number the higher your station.

If you get hit by someone with a low number it's your fault no matter what.

I'm in the let it live camp unless it's rabid. Plus, though I've eaten some weird meats, today I have zero interest in eating squirrel or possum and I don't have a 1963 edition of the Joy of Cooking. Reminds me that I was volunteering at a Goodwill and found a Joy of Sex book in a donation bin. Didn't know such a thing even existed and have never seen that book since. In a brief flip through the pages it was apparent that every male was drawn as some version of Marlin Brando or maybe that was just the hunky soup du jour from that era.

Refried beans are made with pinto beans in the mexican style. Salvadorans use black beans. Tastes different.

Still mush. I don't care for beans at all to begin with, so making them into a paste makes them even less palatable to me.
