Unless you never practice, I suggest avoiding the downloaded "Personal Defense" loads.
Standard 124gr HydraShoks are about $17/50 from www.cheaperthandirt.com. The +P+ load is much harder to find, and usually costs more.

Hydrashock Personal Defense.... a name I know too well.
I used a 135(?) grain Personal Defense in 40 Caliber to take a feral hog once. Knocked her down, but she got right back up two-three seconds later and walked away.
The bullet ONLY penetrated 12-14 inches of muscle, shattered BOTH shoulder blades, broke her spine, shattered three upper spine blades and lodged under her skin on the exit side!
Personal Defense... indeed.
Not too many human target would walk away from the injury. The bullet actually performed flawlessly. The spine was not damaged, therefore she was stunned, mortally wounded, but not killed instantly.
