Nothing yet?
Gotta get in early on this thread. Rename it. Call it the "Official Iran Aug. 22" thread.
I'm 99.99% sure the only thing that is going to happen... is that we are going to get another no... and possibly news that they made some new breakthrough in their enrichment program. |
they're a bunch of pussies. i've dealt with enough iraqis to know that all those people over there are the biggest pusses ever.
I think that plan to bomb 10 planes was the big August 22 thing.
Yep, I'm kind of making fun of the drama queens. |
30th of Mordad and nary a peep.
I spent 90 minutes learning Persian today, just in case. |
I've got 2 cases of guatamalan 5.56, 1400 rounds of radway, and 2000 rounds of south african 7.62, BRING ON THE LAND WAR!
(Nothing is going to happen that hasn't already been said. He's just buying time.) |
I did a consult for an Irainian family out of SLC a few years ago. The old man was the largest Artic Freeze franchisee in the country with over 200 stores. He got out when the Shah was deposed. One of his sons is 6'9" and played football for the 49ers. I dare you to call him a pussy to his face.....he'd crush you! Don't let your hatred for the current regime cloud your judgement to the point that you disdain ALL folke from Iraq, They were our allies until the Ayatollahs took over. Do you know where Stalin, Roosavelt, and Chruchill met durring WW2 to make plans? |
Something has GOT to happen.
I mean, they wouldn't print it if it wasn't true. |
yep, every country has pussies and every country has bad asses. However there are really some Persian hotties. |
Yes, yes there are. |
You guys must really be into moustachiod women |
LOL! Maybe when they get older. But I worked with some very hot young Persian women in the late '70's and early eighties. Absolutely stunningly beautiful women! Isn't Catherine Bell of Persian descent? I just google'd it. Yes, she is. |
Is it 8/22 here or 8/22 there that they are supposed to do something. They need to make better less confusing threats. |
Better take that second link down (even though it's not hot).
Done... oops. |
Nothing is going to happen. Maybe they do some Nuke test but that's it.
Is that what you consider to be nothing? |
Come on. Mike Wallace let Ami-whatever put his dick on his cheek. He can't be all bad.
I'd be suprised if the Russians, Chinese, Pakistanis or French sold them the technology to make bombs. But of course our crack intel agency would no for sure what was going to happen ahead of time. Kind of like with North Korea. |
OMG you still don't get it. We weren't laughing because we thought it was not feasible for them to do a test... we were laughing because you said it would be no big deal. In my opinion, it would be the most important thing to happen in the middle east since 1948. |
No, you're thinking of PeteCO. |
Uhh, I think it's funny because the nuke would say "Made in Israel" on it. |
Would it be a huge suprise though? What would the UN do? Sit on their collective hands of course. Perhaps it gives us cause to do some Tactical Nuke work. Who knows. Personally I doubt anything is going to happen, maybe he says they are going to continue their program who knows. I think they are feeling a little cocky because they know it would be hard for us to take on another front. |
........ZZZZZZZZZZZ........SNORT.......ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.......
Yeah, but Iran detonating a nuclear bomb is far from nothing happening. That would immensely change things. |
Anything other than a Nuke will be a let down. Perhaps it was the planes but that would have been a declaration of war.
It would be a huge surprise. Just a few months ago the Iranians proudly showed off a small vial of slightly enriched uranium. So they're years away from making their own bomb. |
Assuming, of course, that vial was the sum total of their nuclear research to-date. If they're smart, they'll keep us guessing until they actually decide to use one. And I don't think they're stupid. |
Current Weather Observations:
Tehran, Iran sunny 10,086°F SE (944 mph) Relative Humidity (%):0, Pressure (mB): , Rising, Visibility: poor |
It's not just the research. It's also having what's needed to enrich uranium to bomb grade. Supposedly, you need like a thousand of the Pakistani designed centrifuges running for a year to make enough material for a bomb. It's a huge effort. The problem for the Iranians is they were outted and the Khan network which would supply the parts is now being closely watched so it's going to be difficult for the Iranians to get the parts to assemble these centrifuges. The North Koreans slipped under the radar because no one was paying attention but not so for the Iranians. |
In other words, a perfect day! |
Umm a cookout! |
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.......
The Iranian had parts for 1200-1500 centrifuges waiting to be assembled according to IAEA back in 2005. Who knows their status now... no one knows how many have been assembled as of today. David Albright and his group ISIS, put Iran's earliest aquisition of the bomb at 2009. But, who knows what suprises the Iranians might have up their sleeves. Link to Albright article on 2009 aquisition date |
well, it's 1615 here now.... IIRC an hour ahead of that in Teheran....
*sigh* it was hot today, that could be it.... ummm, we had a slight sandstorm- OH... it drizzled for the first time in 6 months yesterday- mabye they were off a day? -Roth |
