It really is the 'Forgotten War', thanks for mentioning it. My father (now deceased) served in Korea as an FO for a mortar crew the last couple of months of combat and saw some amazing things. It's very interesting and I love reading about it.

Here's something to think about as the anniversaries of the battles start coming along––- the delaying actions fought to buy time to get troops and supplies to Korea. A very tough position to be in...

I wonder how long that war will last? Will it trump the 100years war?
(It still technically exists, since it was and has been only a 'cease fire' since the '53) |
