I woke up not wanting to see this day arrive...As a youth I looked forward to 18 than 21, did not care about 30, 40 or 50 or getting a AARP card, but the 60th sucks.
Where in the hell did the last 40 years go by and so damn fast! |
|
Keep living! And happy Birthday!
ps. I turned 33 yesterday and it was just another day |
|
Happy birthday
I look at it this way; everybody gets to be young, not everybody has the opportunity to grow old! |
|
Happy birthday! And remember, it's better than the alternative.
|
|
Happy birthday!
I am turning 65 this week but; I am going to shoot a 600 yard match in a couple of hours so life is good. |
|
Happy Birthday!!
I'm trailing you by 23 years and I hope to make it there in one piece. |

When I was ten, I thought 18 was a long way off. No way I'd make it til then.
Then the 20's , still alive, 30's were pretty fun too. 40, , That sucks. Now 441/2. Still kicking . 50 seems a long way off, but I'm sure it will sneak up on me and punch me right in the face or gut. Congrats on the 60. Have a beer on me. Happy Birthday. |
|
Happy birthday man!
Couple years behind you and I sympathize, but remember.... 60 down.... and 60 to go! |
|
Happy B'day!!!!!
Your not old, your experienced!!!! As long as the mechanics of nature still work, whats the problem.... By the way I turn 65 in June... Its time for a red Corvette and two 20 yr old girlfriends!!!!!! |
|
Thanks for the wishes..it would be nice to turn back the clock on some of the bad decisions one makes though life. For the youth on the forums think hard and wise...
For me I thank the good Lord for my wife and the good health we both have, of course diet and heavy work outs really have paid off. |

I turned 60 last April.
You are as old as you feel. I feel like I'm still in my 40's. Turning 60 will make you take stock of your priorities in life! |
|

I turned 60 last April. July You are as old as you feel. I feel like I'm still in my 40's. Turning 60 will make you take stock of your priorities in life! This! Happy B-day, I feel your pain! If I'd known I was going to live this long, I would'a taken much better care of myself! Although I've never asked for one, it's hard to believe we're eligible for many "Senior Citizen" discounts. Where'd the time go? |

Happy birthday have a great day and enjoy yourself. I hit the big 50 in June, so I am not far behind you in the grand scheme of things.

Happy Birthday! Turned 61 last year and to me, age is a state of mind. Sure I have the usual ache and pain associated with my body getting older, but I'm having enough fun to get over it. Enjoy, consider the alternative and time does indeed fly by.
I'll toast to your health when I take my first sip of the Bloody Mary I'm about to make! 'Coot |
