Details are wrong the block party was a album release party at a party store. Not that it makes much difference. Its gonna be a long summer in the Detroit this year. My father is a 40yr DPD veteran and says its busier then it has been in years.

Eta: Example, all sorts of shit would occur at any social on Belle Isle on a regular basis. All sorts of people would get shot the fuck up at regular intervals.

One time I was picnicking with my girl and seen this chick next to us start stabbing the shit out of this dude she was with.
He ran off while she chase him, then he stopped, turned around and cold knocked that bitch to the ground.

Detroit doesn't have much on Omaha either. ( Sad to say )

This weekend in northeast Omaha one man was apparently shot dead and seven others wounded.
Police are investigating whether some of the shootings were linked to gangs. Just a wild guess but I bet this is probably true.

A Lt. from Omaha police gang unit, said tensions were high Saturday after a fight broke out earlier in the day during the Junteenth parade, bringing that celebration to an early end.

Junteenth, never heard of that before, but now I know. Given the violence at this event I wont be attending next years celebration.
