Black Rifle Retrospective.

Great AR history book. Whoever arranged the paragraph structure in that book should be slapped though.

So it’s not just me!!

Here a few more to add to the above mentioned books:

Black Magic - The Ultra Accurate AR15, John Feamster.
Black Rifle II, The M16 into the 21st Century, Christopher R. Bartocci ($$$!)
The Complete Guide to AR-15 Accuracy, Derrick Martin and Barrett Tillman.
The Complete AR-15/M16 Sourcebook (2002 edition), Duncan Long (some of Long’s books are a bit sloppy, but this one is decent)
The M16/AR15 Rifle, A Shooter’s and Collector’s Guide, Joe Poyer.
Some of the Answer, Urban Carbine, Jim Crews (admittedly not an AR specific book)

This should be the last book you buy. It was published by Zediker Publishing (i.e. the author) for a reason. He claims to be an English major. I doubt it.

Merlin

eta: Feamster's book is excellent as is Martin's.
