I'm going to give it a try for summer, looks like the workouts are quick and effective, and that is a good thing when I'm doing manual labor for months.
Which of the two templates would you prefer though?
Looks like BBB is pretty straight forward. 2 exercises a day. 5/3/1, drop the weight and do 5x10, and then one more compound at 5x10.
Triumvirate is still 3 exercises, but after the 5/3/1 it's two different compounds at 5x10 and both are antagonistic.
Really I'm probably not even strong enough for this program, but any progress through the summer is better than treading water until October.
What templates have you used and enjoyed?
I really liked BBB but it was a but much @ 65% for my experience level.
I shortened it down to 3x10 and use around 50% but do SLOW reps and get a good hypertrophy effect.
I felt like I got alot of gains when I could complete the sets.
