I recently spoke with a guy from a rural VFW post, they need blanks for their 21 gun salute at funerals with military honors, mostly old WWII guys passing on. They have '03 Springfield rifles and need 30-06 blanks. Any ideas either post or e-mail me. thanks

I think I have 20-30 blanks. Give me an address to send them to and I will hunt them down and ship them. Buster

Can't you roll your own blanks? Just prime a cartridge, add a powder charge, and put some kind of paper wad or wax or grease or something for a bullet?

Some people use a plug of dacron when they fireform brass, this enables you to ad a powder charge. However I have never used it, and don't know if this would be a solid projectile which could be a hazard. However if someone who has used this knows otherwise, then this may be an option.
