Anyone here using .300Blackout as an operational carbine. It strikes me that it might be a good option with the ability to use subsonic and supersonic rounds out of the same carbine for different applications, particularly with it's efficiency out of short barrels and potential for suppression?

for actual info on the rd and gun you would be better off checking out the AR-15 forum under AR Variants. it has been discussed there several times.

Thanks for the tip. A lot of info to trawl through there! The system seems viable, the sticking point seems to be consistent factory ammunition.

you are a paid member, use the search in that forum. it will make finding the info so much easier. i havent seen many problems with the ammo but im still in the planing stage. i have a lower here just waiting for an upper and i think 300 is going to be a winner.

I've had a quick scan but will look in greater depth, thanks. I'm using the 300BLK talk forum as well...
